Our FREE teacher training seeks to bring the current economic challenges into the classroom and address the economic elements of the Citizenship and PSHEE at Key Stages 3 & 4 by providing teachers with ideas and resources which they can easily replicate in the classroom.

The training includes: 

 The importance of ‘economics in citizenship’ – introducing economic concepts within citizenship education – “What part does the economy play in shaping our society?” – and using class activities that teachers can easily replicate.

Key concepts & processes of economics in citizenship – taking a closer look at how economic themes can be drawn down from central citizenship concepts and complement legal and political perspectives.

Methodology – how to apply economics in citizenship in an interactive, current and engaging way to a range of schemes of work.

In the first instance, we will contact your Local Authority with your expression of interest to explore training opportunities. Where there are a few teachers within a locality interested in participating in this opportunity, Paying for It will endeavor to arrange a training session within a local school.
